Restorative Sound Bath
Experience the meditative and healing energy of a restorative sound bath..
Led by Alison Goodwin, the sound bath journey will immerse you in the soothing sounds of instruments such as crystal bowls and chimes, and even a gong.
Benefits of a sound bath are backed by science. Researchers have found that sound baths can reduce anxiety and improve mood by lowering levels of cortisol—the body’s stress hormone.
During a sound bath session at Maison Movement, Alison opens with some light movement and breathwork. You’ll then lie down, close your eyes and focus on the sounds being played. You may experience deep relaxation, a sense of floating, or visualizations. Many feel a welcome sense of calm almost instantly, and some tend to drop in to a mode of introspection.
Expect to leave this sound bath feeling ultra-relaxed and restored, with a high chance of enjoying a night of a deeper sleep to follow.
